Dairy and me...a tempermental union LOL

You know, I never really appreciated the whole "lactose intolerance" thing until recenlty.. Right now, I am craving a roast beef sandwich from Arby's.. It would be kool to have cheese on it too, however, that's not a great idea.. hehe.. Soo, as it stands, I will enjoy a very roast beef sandwich minus the cheese! The good thing? I'm back in my "skinny" jeans since I gave up the dairy.. HEYOOO!! LOL

Aaanyway.. I've had such a great couple of days.. I celebrated my 12th anniversary with my wonderful wife, and in addition to that, I've met some really kool new people recently! New friends I guess you could say! I meet a lot of interesting people as a result of my job.. I'm so fortunate.. Blessed to be able to do what I love to do.. Run my mouth! LOLOL

I'm getting back into blogging regularly.. It's great stuff!!

Is it summer yet??

Okay.. So we just celebrated the unofficial start of summer.. Are you stoked yet?? LOL I know that I'm ready!! Especially with all the inclemency that we've all experienced over the past few days.. Yes, we got some rain here in Vegas if you can believe that! I have to say though.. We Vegans are very happy when we get rain.. Sucks to drive on it.. I mean, after all, we live on a bed of sand.. Okay? LOL BUT.. It's nice to have sunshine most of the time.. Gray clouds and rain all the time could get a little bit depressing.. okay? LOL So, as it stands right now in the Valley.. We've got the most beautiful morning going on.. :-)
Aaanyway.. I had a pretty kool weekend.. Steaks, and drinks, and kool peeps.. What more could a girl ask for? Well, sure, great sex.. :-) Yup! Had that too... LOL I'm in the middle of getting some work done for tonight's show.. ;-)

Wednesday happennings..

I'm hanging out.. getting some work done.. I just finished watering the kale in the front yard.. I have to do the back soon.. The sun will be scorching everything soon! Sheesh!! The heat! LOL But, as I always say.. I love it here!.. The desert is kool.. Metaphorically speaking, that is ;-)
I've got sooo much to do today.. I've got to call my family and friends and thank them for the wonderful birthday messages!! I'm all the way out here.. My family is back east.. So, it's nice to hear from them at least once a year. :-) I love and miss them very much.. They're the best..
My wife is amazing... She got all of them together for a "cyber" party for me!! Heartwarming.. I mean, my family is pretty spread out! I mean, I know it was a royal pain in the ass. She'd been sneaking around the house.. LOOL She's so cute.. I love her..

Chelsea just won the movie!! Mattie was just evicted, and Natalie is reeling!!! Chelsea's adorable. I'm glad she won.. I'am also glad that Adam won the grand prize! He was funny.. Seemed like a nice enough guy too.. I mean, come on.. Every time we tuned in we heard Ryan rapping... "Nigger this and "Nigger' that.. Okay? That got old so fast LOLOL!

I'm hanging out.. Getting some work done, and watching the Flavor of Love finale on VH1.com.. Hmmm. I was watching it on the tube, but, I can always multitask on here.. Sunrise Salutations...

I'm hanging out, enjoying the beautiful sunrise.. It is sooo beautiful right now.. We've officially begun the season which I affectionately refer to as "hell" LOL .. Yesterday it was a kool 107 degrees in the desert.. Nice right? I know, it sounds pretty friggin' inhuman, but, it's not as bad as it sounds.. If you can believe that! You see, we don't really have a lot of humidity here in Vegas.. It's really REALLY dry so... Takes a while to sweat actually... I've got the sunscreen at the ready! HOLLAAA!
Last night I went out for my birthday!! I had sooo much fun! My wife and our friend Debbie took me out to be "Queen for a day".. However, they know that we'll be celebrating that shit all friggin' week okay? Hell, your birthday comes once a fucking year! But.. Last night was fun.. We went out to dinner, then to see Gordy Brown.. LOL He was pretty funny! Kept me laughing.. He does impressions.. Very well might I add! He was a white dude, and he pulled off Sammy Daavis Jr. amazingly well.. Took you right there! Great stuff! Dinner was fun.. I'm lactose intolerant, and we went to a Mexican place.. So, I brought some digestive advantage and called it a night! shit.. That stuff works, but, at least for me.. I have to keep taking it for a while.. Like a few days.. I guess until I digest what ever the fuck dairy I've eaten.. sucks right? But hey! Somebody has to be the pain in the ass who can't just chill and eat a slice of pizza right? HOLLLAAA!!! anyway.. I'm watching "Housewives" yet again. LOL It was so good! And since I'm awake.. I totally crashed as soon as my head hit the pillow last night.. I was zonked before like 1:00am hehe.. So, I'm gonna watch some of this, then go and wrap myself around my Baby..

It's officially Saturday morning..HOLLA!!!!!

Wow! I slept so well last night.. I mean, I was up until all hours watching damned vids, but, when my head hit Baby's breast, I was out like scout okay? ZONKED!! LOL Today we're supposed to have a "Saw" marathon with my neighbor.. smh.. that movie is a trip!! We started IV the other night.. Didn't finish it though! It always takes me a while to finish one of those movies. LOL I'm glad I didn't see that shit in the theater okay? That would have a been a huge waste of money!! Looking between my fingers and shit! That is one gory movie.. FUCK!
Aaaanyway.. I'm updating my playlist right now.. Getting rid of the songs that are no longer available, and finding new ones.. You know what? Music is the shit! I mean, what would we do without the jams!??? HOLLAAAAA!!

Friday contemplations...

As I sit here in front of "the glowing box", I'm listening to "Breathe".. "How Can I Fall".. Love that song.... :-) Anyway.. I don't really have anything exciting to talk about.. Just wanting to get some thoughts out of my head..That's a scary thought! Hope my head doesn't explode LOL.. Last night work was so much fun! Our guest was awesome, and the listeners seemed to have a good time.. Hey! That's why I do it.. It's really all about them.. The people out there.. I love them all so much.. People are awesome really.. I mean, yeah, we all may not always agree on everything.. We're all so different.. I think that when we acknowledge and appreciate our differences, it makes all the difference. For instance, if we actually celebrate our differences, instead of all trying to become one in the same, or convincing others to change, (don't you love that shit?) lol.. That's part of why I like watching "Wife Swap"! It's such a challenge for people to accept others' differences.. Really though, I think that many of us would kindly "freak out" when posed with a lifestyle that is the complete antithesis of the lifestyle that we're accustomed to living.
The weather out here is amazing right now! Well, it's Vegas, so, the weather is rarely inclement, but, there's just something about springtime that's simply magical. The birds are going nuts with the songs, and the breeze is perfect.. Hey! Before you get jealous, remember that in about 4 weeks or so, we'll hit 115 degrees!! LOL I love Vegas, but, whew! It can get pretty extreme in the summertime..BUT! Like most Vegans, I'll stick it out for another summer, then, probably another and another.. LOL I've got the sunscreen ready!!!

When you get bad news...

Hmmm.. Well, what are you gonna do right? Let me just say that as I type this, I'm kind of in shock so.. Bear with me. You see, my wife's dad.. My awesome father in law recently had a bout with cancer, and he had surgery, and they told us that he was alright. In remission for preventative purposes, and they were even traveling.. Well, we just got off the phone with our Aunt.. And it appears that all that we have been believing these past months has been all untrue.. Turns out that yes, he still has cancer, and he's actually not doing very well. Well, all we can do is pray, and be there as much as possible. That's what we're going to do.. Our Aunt says that mom and dad haven't wanted to hear what has been told to them over and over again.. I mean, I get it though.. They have been together for 57 years, and spent not more than a day apart I'm sure.. They are a beautiful couple, and I feel so sorry for her mom.. I mean they are trucking along traveling and calling us and everything seems just fine! smh.. I think that the truth may be too much for them right now. I mean, how will any of us react when faced with our own mortality? We won't know until we get there right? He is receiving portable chemo treatments, but, we thought they were just to be sure, that they'd gotten it all.. damn.. You know, that's life though isn't it? You do your thing, rocking along, then, here come the curve balls! We burried my father 4 years ago, so, I think that I can be there for her in a way that comes from a very empathic place. And on the other hand.. He's here today!! And that is cause for celebration.. We were told in October that he only had 2 months to live.. So, we have to be thankful.. for each day. So, I am going to be thankful.. I would like to go for a visit.. you see, we are like a thousand or so miles away from her home. It would be so nice o just take a drive over to their house and have a nice "visit" (as they say).. Since my own father passed away, hers has become that much more important to me.. I think he knows that though.. I'll make sure he does.. I don't want to freak him out though, and start grieving before it's time you know? I want to stay positive, and know that he made it this far! So, who knows what tomorrow will bring.. Until then, I'll have to be there for my sweetheart in all the ways she needs me to be.. I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!

Okay.. this is creeping me out!! LOL I'm hanging out.. checking out some vids, and I am watching History Channel stuff. I love that channel! LOL I'm such a dork. But, you have to admit, they have some really kool shows! Anyway.. They had one show on the church of Satann. Okay??

But, I've seen it before.. But, still. Right about now, it's better than a horror movie.. Although, they (the Satanists) say that it's pretty much a parody of Christian traditions.. Like, there is no Heaven or Hell.. So, they make fun of it.. With the masks and the calling out to Satan and such.. I don't know.. I'd be afraid to call on homeboy! What if he decides to come on out and kick it with me or something?? No thank you! LOLOL
Anyway.. work was fun!!! Went by really fast! We had a guest, so.. that happens... As they say.. time flies when you're having fun right?
You know.. I've been paying close attention to these gas prices.. It's so crazy just how expensive the shit is these days!! I mean, is all that really necessary?? I can see it going higher before it's all over with really.. It would be nice if they (the prices) went down, but, honestly... I don't see it happening any time soon.. :-( Hey! We can all get out bikes out! HOLLAAAA!! hehe.. no, but really.. Like we all can't afford to work our heart muscles a little more.. and not just in the bedroom lol...
I need to bust out the blades!! The weather's been beautiful!! We had our first 90 degree day a few weeks ago, and it's been perfect ever since.. I'll tell ya.. I grew up on the east coast, so, when I came out west, I was stoked!! You mean, no snow?? (unless I go up to the mountains).. YAAAYYYY!! I have to say though.. After 6 years out here, I'm ready for a Winter vacation next year... yeah.. that sounds awesome..

MY FIRST POST YAAAYYYY!!

YAAAYYYY!!! It's my first (new) blogpost over here.. Blogger was actually my first bloghome, but, you know how it is!! Once you start blogging, you discover new sites and there you go!! Now, I have a MySpace, Facebook, Blogstream, and a Blogster account, to name a few.. LOLOL Yes, I can honestly admit that I am a blogwhore hehe. Well, I really used to love it, then I met some really mean spirited people, and to be honest with you, it turned me off! I mean, I'm no angel, and I can get down with the rest of them, but, when I'm hanging out in the blogosphere, I like to be able to "chill out" so to speak.. To breathe and to think, and to speak my mind. Not to fuss and fight about dumb stuff.. Aaaanyway.. I can't complain though, because out of like 5 jerks that I've met, I've met hundreds of really kool people. So, I guess you can say that it all balances itself out.. Well, I'll be back in a few. I have to work tonight so.. But, I'm lucky, I really like my job! A lot of people would hate it.. It's tiring, requires ALL of my mental faculties, but, at the same time, it's so much fun! For me, anyway.. Hey! Some people love beef, some love fish, and some love chicken, but it's all good food! LOLOL Ok.. Let me stop cracking myself up and get ready for work..
